Arrowhead Up dates!

It has been so long since we have given you a peek into our lives here @ Arrowhead, the professional Cobberdog breeder. We absolutely love what we do and get to meet so many amazing families and individuals. We get to spend our days finding the perfect Cobberdog puppies for families that want a wonderful companion or an emotional support dog. It’s a very lovely way to spend a day! So much joy and happiness. 

One of the major things we have done in the last few months is decide who gets to retire, and who gets to complete testing to join the amazing program here at your local Arrowhead Cobberdog breeder! It has been a good time working with and caring for Vikki & Lotus, they have had their last litters with us and each has a lovely family ready to love them the rest of their lives. Apple and Becca and Loxley will have one more litter later this year and then also retire to live with their foster families! 

Taking the young “wanna-be” moms and dads in to get all the testing completed fills a day all by it’s self, SO grateful we have a lovely vets office who take wonderful care of our puppies and us! GRIN! We are grateful that we are love the Cobberdog, they are so healthy, that rarely does a young one not pass it’s testing.. I think living on a farm and having such a healthy, wonderful space to play and, run and grow makes a huge difference for them.  Environment is such an important part of early puppy development. 

We have been having lots of fun adding new products to our in house gift shoppe. Finding items that are best suited to our wonderful Cobberdogs, is priority, good quality and tempting for our canine loves are what we are after! Check it our here https://minilabradoodle.biz/shop/

We have also started an in house training program! This is super exciting for us as we get to watch more puppies from different litters mature longer, making us better breeders and allows you to have confidence that the first weeks of training was done by people who genuinely know this breed inside and out.. We let families choose how many weeks they would like the puppies in the program, and Connie is happy to answer questions if you have them. We only train Cobberdog puppies born here at Arrowhead. We LOVE this breed and are thrilled to work with the puppies, giving them the best possible start in life possible. 

We still have our out of house trainers as well, these Certified Trainers work with pick of the litter puppies, that Luke specialty chooses as puppies that will work well for homes that either want a wonderful emotional support Cobberdog, or a puppy who is guaranteed to have a wonderful personality and make a fabulous family companion. 

We are feeling spring in the air around the farm and are gearing up for the annual romp and green grass… I may be pushing the season a bit, but it’s coming!
