There was once a little dog, quite a happy pup, always having a good time with his friends. His human was very nice to him, training him well and providing for him the essential things a puppy needs. He was having fun one day with his masters little human, when his master approached him with a tiny brush. Intrigued, the puppy sniffed it with interest. The owner proceeded to hug the puppy tight and insert the brush into his mouth brushing the inside of his cheek for a few seconds. The puppy’s owner then put the brush back into the package and disappeared into a different room. Time went on and the puppy became a dog. He was well mannered and obedient, but noticed his masters demeanor toward him had changed. It had gradually degraded to the point where he was no longer allowed to go into certain rooms of the house and was forbade from walking near any rugs or lying on the couch. The dog became sad and wondered how he could make his master happy again. He tried to give his master gifts, one day he caught a warm wriggling bunny in the back yard and brought it to his master. His master hollered at him about how cruel a dog he was and locked him up in a cage for ten hours for punishment. A week later the dog tipped over his water dish just so he would have a toy to play with. The result of this mistake was no water for three days. Desperate for a drink he dashed across four feet of carpet to get to the restroom and was able to lap water in the lavatory for a couple seconds before his master caught on. As time moved along the restrictions and punishment slowly and gradually became more and more severe. It came to the point where the little dog was at the brink of starvation, and willing to do anything for his master. He did not even dream of a better world, for to him, this was the only world he knew…poor little doggie…
